Tickets

As we prepare to cheer on the swimmers, we ask that everyone observe the following rules and understand fully the ticket policies of SwimMAC Charlotte UltraSwim®. We want to insure that the athletes and all our guests enjoy the entire competition.

• All Fans Must be Ticketed and wristbands or credentials must be worn at all times while attending the sessions. Tickets are non-refundable and we are not responsible for lost or stolen tickets. Fans under 2 years of age may be admitted without a wristband but must be held on the lap of an adult throughout the session.
• No Weapons
• No Alcoholic Beverages
• No Flash Photography at the Start of Any Race
• No Noisemakers
• The Deck Space Must Remain Clear, No Loitering on the Deck is Allowed
• Ticketed Guests of SwimMAC Charlotte UltraSwim® are required to remain in their designated spectator sections at all times when inside the facility
• No strollers will be admitted, due to limited seating
• Infant carriers may be used but a ticket will be required for that child

USA Swimming Officials along with Mecklenburg County Parks and Recreation Department will decide whether the SwimMAC Charlotte UltraSwim® Grand Prix Meet may be safely contested. It is our desire to host a complete meet but in some rare cases, sessions may be cancelled for reasons that are beyond our control. While this would be a regrettable situation, we must adhere to our strict policy of No Refunds.

USA Swimming Broadcast Policy must be obeyed at all times. There are limitations imposed on the spectators at these meets and events, including coach, athlete and volunteer members of USA Swimming, prohibiting photographing, video taping and other audio/visual recordings for commercial non-personal use, broadcasting, publishing and disseminating the product for any and all commercial purposes. These recording, broadcasting, publishing and disseminating restrictions apply to all media, including such outlets as YouTube, etc. Any photographs, videotape or other audio and/or visual recordings of the event created by a spectator may be used solely for such spectator’s personal non-commercial use, and may not be broadcast, published or disseminated, or used for any commercial purposes, without the prior written consent of USA Swimming.

It remains the right of the SwimMAC Charlotte UltraSwim® Meet Management Committee to remove anyone who does not observe any of the above stated rules, or meet these expectations, who is, in the opinion of Meet Management, impeding the meet in any way, or who is causing a disruption that cannot be mediated.

This wristband is a legal substitute for a ticket, and as such, constitutes a revocable license. The holder, on behalf of himself or herself and any minor accompanying the holder, (individually and collectively referred to as the “Holder”) agrees to all of the terms hereof. By using this wristband and entering the buildings and grounds of the Mecklenburg County Aquatic Center, the Holder agrees to be bound by the terms of this license.

The Holder agrees not to transmit, distribute, or sell (or aid in transmitting, distributing or selling) any description, account, picture, video, audio or other form of reproduction of the event or any surrounding activities (in whole or in part) for which this wristband is issued (hereinafter referred to as the “Event”) without the written consent of SwimMAC Charlotte UltraSwim® and its Meet Management, Mecklenburg County Aquatic Center, SwimMAC (Mecklenburg Aquatic Club, Inc.), and USA Swimming.

Breach of any terms of this license, failure to comply with the rules of the aquatic center and/or Meet Management, or the refunding to the Holder of the published price of this wristband/ticket shall automatically terminate any rights that the Holder may have hereunder; shall render illegal and unauthorized the Holder’s use of the wristband for any purpose; and shall authorize SwimMAC Charlotte UltraSwim®, Meet Management, Mecklenburg County Aquatic Center, SwimMAC (Mecklenburg Aquatic Club, Inc.) and/or USA Swimming to withdraw this wristband, refuse admission into the buildings or onto the grounds of the aquatic center, and/or eject the Holder from the buildings and/or grounds of the aquatic center; and shall subject the Holder to all legal remedies available to any of the parties named hereinabove. Resale or attempted resale of this wristband/ticket in violation of applicable law is grounds for seizure or cancellation without refund or compensation.

The Holder grants permission to SwimMAC Charlotte UltraSwim® and its Meet Management, Mecklenburg Aquatic Center, SwimMAC (Mecklenburg Aquatic Club, Inc.) and USA Swimming to utilize the Holder’s image, likeness, actions and statements in any live or recorded audio, video, or photographic display or other transmission, exhibition, publication or reproduction made of, or at, the Event in any medium or context for commercial or promotional purposes without further authorization or compensation.

The Holder of this ticket voluntarily assumes all risk and danger of personal injury (including death) and personal property damage and all hazards arising from, or related in any way to, the Event, whether occurring prior to, during, or after the Event, howsoever caused and whether by negligence or otherwise.

The Holder and the Holder’s belongings may be searched upon entry into the buildings or onto the grounds of the aquatic center, and the Holder consents to such searches and waives any related claims that might arise against any of the parties named herein. If the Holder elects not to consent to these searches, the Holder will be denied entry into the buildings or onto the grounds of the aquatic center.
